Forgiveness and The Kingdom

I have sat and pondered the heart of forgiveness and what that looks like in Kingdom Life - Kingdom Culture. Worldly culture tells us we can forgive but we do not have to forget. Worldly culture tells us to put boundaries on our love so we don’t get hurt. I can’t find this is Kingdom culture. Kingdom culture tells us to keep no records of wrong, to be patient and kind. The Kingdom Culture reveals how we should not be proud but humble. LOVE NEVER GIVES UP ON PEOPLE. I believe this is a key to see revival in the land. Many pray for revival but I think, just maybe Jesus is praying for unity.

“Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not selfish, and it cannot be made angry easily. Love does not remember wrongs done against it. Love is never happy when others do wrong, but it is always happy with the truth. Love never gives up on people. It never stops trusting, never loses hope, and never quits.8 Love will never end.” Corinthians 13:4-8

Forgiveness has no record of mistakes. Jesus is always covering each mistake we make. When we ask Him to forgive us He does not hold us in contempt and keep our wrongs in jail and hold them over us. He does not keep a list and bring it up every time we fall short. He just forgives. He covers the wrongs by the price He paid on the cross. He makes all wrongs right. He does this INSTANTLY. If we hold people in contempt for mistakes they make then we ourselves become bound by bitterness and we truly cannot LOVE as we are called to love. Christ gave up His life. All He is asking us to do is give up our pride. Love keeps no record of wrong. Thank God for His never changing love. Thank goodness He has no boundaries with His love. Thank goodness He is limitless with forgiveness.

I learned many years ago when my son was shaken by a babysitter; that I had to forgive. I have been on a journey for twenty-four years of learning to walk in that way and keep no record of pain and hurt, but to try to love without boundaries. I believe the greatest revival God wants on the earth is UNITY that is marked by love.

We must come to a place where what we talk about in regards to the Kingdom begins to actually become the truth we live by in action and deed. We must stop accusing people of being controlling, being a Jezebel and simply holding those in contempt for mistakes they make. WE are releasing judgement in a way that does not bring resolve. I believe that God is calling us to be a part of a great move of love that the byproduct of it is signs, wonders and miracles. Love compelled Him - Jesus to the cross for our freedom. When someone asks for forgiveness Love should abound. We should not quit on people but let LOVE win, the kind of love that COVERS a multitude of sin. The kind of love that brings change. Just like the merciful change He brought to you when you opened your heart to Him. Be merciful so that mercy is shown to you. Forgive so that forgiveness is shown to you.

Matthew 6:9-14
Our Father in heaven, we pray that your name will always be kept holy.
HE SITS ON THE THRONE – HE IS HOLY

We pray that your kingdom will come— that what you want will be done here on earth, the same as in heaven. YOU ARE GIVING HIM PERMISSION TO BE IN CHARGE. YOU ARE ALIGNING YOURSELF UP WITH HIS WILL, NOT YOURS.

Give us the food we need for today.
READ THE WORD. IT BRINGS YOU LIFE. ABUNDANTLY.

Forgive our sins, just as we have forgiven those who did wrong to us. THIS IS UNITY

Don’t let us be tempted, but save us from the Evil One. LET NO PRIDE IN. FORGIVE. LOVE DISPELS DARKNESS. LOVE HIM WITH YOUR WHOLE BEING ☺

Yes, if you forgive others for the wrongs they do to you, then your Father in heaven will also forgive your wrongs. 15 But if you don’t forgive others, then your Father in heaven will not forgive the wrongs you do.

My prayer today is that you too will be able to walk in forgiveness so that bitterness will not keep you bound. My prayer is that you would be able to release forgiveness and hold no wrongs. I pray that you will be reminded that the Kingdom of God longs for unity. I pray that as you have been forgiven without contempt that you too can do the same.

Love has to be so essential for the body to be unified and for members to work TOGETHER. We are all very different and sometimes lack commonality but through LOVE we can enjoy each other if we submit ourselves to God and His way of life. The world has many different cultures in it, but God has one - The Kingdom Culture, let us live from that place.
